I am using the plugin for Visual Studio 2012, and have added my SHFB project to a solution. When building the project from clean, everything works fine. However, if I try to build the project (or the solution) a second time, without cleaning it, I receive the following error:
3> Initializing
3> ValidatingDocumentationSources
3>SHFB(0,0): error BE0065: BUILD FAILED: Length cannot be less than zero.
Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Can you post the content from the actual build log (Build | View Build Log Content)? That may provide some more context.

Yes, here you go. I have taken the liberty of removing the exact names of the files, since I don't suppose they will be of any help.

Finding tools...
Found Sandcastle tools in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Sandcastle\'

Validating and copying documentation source information
Source: C:\[...].sln
    Found project 'C:\[...].csproj'

Parsing project files
    Found assembly 'C:\[...].dll'
    Last step completed in 00:00:00.0030

SHFB: Error BE0065: BUILD FAILED: Length cannot be less than zero.
Parameter name: length

Based on where it's occurring it appears to be an issue related to code I added to handle the GenerateProjectSpecificOutputFolder variable if it exists. That particular problem has been fixed and will be corrected in the next release due out in a week or two.
