Configuring Sandcastle

Hi,

Is it possible to configure Sandcastle Help File Builder so that it generates help files with much less details than it currently does?
I just need to know name spaces and classes info!

Thanks,

You can use the ApiFilter property to get rid of members you don't want documented.  If you're talking about the actual content of each topic, you'll have to customize the XSL transformations used by Sandcastle to get rid of the stuff you don't want to see.

How can I customize XSL transformations?

You'll find all of Sandcastle's transformation files in the C:\Program Files\Sandcastle\Presentation folder.  Beneath that is one folder per presentation style plus a shared folder with some stuff common to each.  The .\Transforms folder beneath each presentation style folder contains the XSL transformations.  Those are the files you will need to modify.  You'll need to be familiar with XSLT in order to make changes.  That's a very large topic and one that you'll have to tackle on your own.  There are some blog posts about the transformations and how they work at http://blogs.msdn.com/sandcastle/default.aspx.
