Differentiate conceptual topics from API documentation

Aug 14, 2012 at 11:31 AM

Hello guys,

I am looking for an easy way to differentiate the conceptual htmls from the one that contains the API documentation.

So far I noticed that the API topic names start as follows:

"n_" - for namespaces

"t"" - for types

"allmembers" - for members

If there is no other way, where can I find all the possible namings for the API documentation articles?

See the NamingMethod property documentation on the Help File Category topic in the SHFB help file.  It describes the prefixes and how the names are generated using the MemberName naming method.  Conceptual topics are always named using their topic ID GUID.

Thank you Eric for this reference. I will look into it.

In my case I am changing the GUID names to a human readable names, thus, checking for GUID is not an option.
