Hi,

I'm trying to automate the web help creation.  I was given a DLL and XML file and also the SHFB file with the preset parameters.
Is there any way to use the SHFB file in a batch file to create a website help using the provided DLL and XML files?

I've been through the Help File Builder documentation and other sites but I it hasn't been too clear for me on how to do this.

Thank You very much

If all you want to do is build a project from the command line, use the supplied SandcastleBuilderConsole.exe.  Pass it the project name on the command line and it will build it.  You can pass various command line options to alter the build as needed.  See the Console Mode Builder topic in the help file for details.

Thank you very much, just what I needed.

Using the generated .shfb file I have, I created a responseFile with the following:

# Load a project
project_api.shfb

I then can call SandcastleBuilderConsole.exe @responseFile
this will use the settings in the project_api.shfb file.

Thanks again
