Error BE0065: BUILD FAILED: Access to the path 'mssccprj.scc' is denied

Hi,

Getting this error right at the end (I think) of a 15 minute build.

Anyone any idea what might be causing it. A lot of my projects and files are source controlled and the file is clearly something to do with SourceSafe and may well be read-only as a result.

You didn't say which build step its occuring in.  Most likely you're outputing a website to a source controlled folder or your working folder is in a source controlled folder.  In both cases, SHFB will delete the content of the folder prior to using them.  It will skip read-only files but perhaps in this case, the file is being held open by something such as Visual Studio.  If you move your output and/or working folder to a different location it should be fine.

Thanks for your quick response, I changed the working and destination folders to a local temp directory, made sure VS was not open and it ran through fine.

Thanks again
