I have just made some changes in an old project (VS2010) and rebuild the documentation. Now I get this error everytime I open a page in the .chm file.

also none of the icons are shown

If I answer each dialog with pressing the Esc key, reload the page, press Esc again for all dialogs and then reload then everything works!!!?????

Anyone that has a clue what is going on?

Also I get the same error on SHFB Help file, The OnLoad error is shown and the icons are missing

I have now updated to the latest version 2014.11.22.0
I have VS2010 Pro and VS2013 Pro (not the Community Edition)

If you're getting the same error in the SHFB help files perhaps something has corrupted the Help 1 viewer. You could try reinstalling the HTML Help Workshop to see if that fixes it.

Hello Eric,

I downloaded and installed htmlhelp 1.3, which is according to Microsoft the latest version.

I have re-registered all files using MJ's Help Diagnostics

I still get the same errors...

Sorry, I'm out of ideas.

Me too...

One thing that is really strange is if I create a small program (C#) and use System.Diagnostics.Process to open the .chm file then everything works perfectly.
But not when I start it from Explorer.

Ok, the problem is with my Windows installation so I will look for answers elsewhere.

Thank you for creating the wonderful program and for the support!
