Starting with v1.8, items added to the project with a BuildAction of Content are copied to the help file output folder automatically.  This replaces the AdditionalContent property from prior versions.  The placement of the files in the project determines their placement in the compiled help file.  Items in the root of the project end up in the root of the help file and items in folders end up in like-named folders in the compiled help file and are copied recursively.  Assuming you place the image in a folder called .\Images off of the root of the project and set its BuildAction to Content, you'd access it from the namespace comments with an img tag similar too:

<img src="..\Images\MyImage.jpg" />

You'll need the relative path "..\" to reach the image folder because the namespace topic will be in the .\html folder.
