Output Deployment and variables

Hi,

I try to configure the output deployment plugin to handle the Debug and Release builds. Now I have something like this:
      <deploymentLocation id="help1x" location="..\..\..\Output\$(Configuration)\">
        <userCredentials useDefault="true" userName="" password="" />
        <proxyCredentials useProxy="false" proxyServer="">
          <userCredentials useDefault="true" userName="" password="" />
        </proxyCredentials>
      </deploymentLocation>
But it seems that $(Configuration) is not resolved correctly. So I am wondering what is the best approach to handle this?

Thanks,

MSBuild variables aren't supported in plug-in configurations since they're treated as XML. They can be made to support substitution tags ({@Configuration}) but the output deployment plug-in doesn't currently support that either. A workaround for now would be to use the value in the output path project property which does support MSBuild variables.
