Good afternoon,

I am trying to write Sandcastle Documentation for a class, and the builder is not picking up any changes for my class if it as attribues on the class

Here is an example of whats going on
/// <summary>
    ///     <para>
    ///     blah blah blah
    ///     </para>
    /// </summary>
  [SslRequired]
  [ValidateApiKey]
  public class controller : ApiController
  {
       blah blah
  }
I have the latest install from the downloads and when I removed the attributes, it works just fine. What do I need to change in the configuration to get this to work?

Thanks!

Attributes shouldn't make a difference since it's the compiler that generates the XML comments file and they have no bearing on the member ID. If they are not being added, the most common reasons are that the XML comments file was not up to date or the SHFB project is being built using a different configuration (i.e. Release as opposed to Debug or AnyCPU as opposed to x86) and it's not using the right comments file. You can find the XML comments file used in the build log and can check it to see if the comments are present.
