Links from syntax blocks not working in VS 2012

Hi,

I've just noticed that for some reason, the links inside syntax sections do not work in VS 2012 - looking at the mogrified source in the Help Viewer, I can see that these are unchanged, i.e. still ms-xhelp:///?Id=.... instead of the converted form. Links outside of these sections, e.g. in a  see or seealso, do work fine.

I'm using the old 2005/2008 style, is there something in the surrounding blocks that breaks the link mogrification?

Regards

JM

Ok, I found out that it seems to be the pre tag around that section... I guess that's why the current MS documentation does not feature any links in the syntax section... nice

Same problem exists in the VS2010 presentation style.

I can also confirm that this is a problem in all styles. This is a big problem and a fix is needed. Question is if it's Sandcastle of SHFB?

The problem is in Help Viewer 2.0.  See this thread: http://shfb.codeplex.com/discussions/406898

Since nobody has really complained and the type links are already present on the page in the parameters section and can be added for the return type, I planned on removing the links to match MSDN.
