Is it possible to have TOC items that are shortcuts to an existing file

I'd like to be able to include the content from one file multiple places in the TOC, for example, a code sample page with it's own id would be pointed to by a TOC entry in a getting started section of the TOC, the developing section of the TOC, and the code samples section of the TOC. Essentially a one to many relation between TOC entries and an .aml file.

I've played around with containers and file associations, but everything I've tried so far results in

SHFB: Error BE0058: Two conceptual content files have the same ID (1f0bf757-679a-4962-893c-ff74d8838dd1). The file with the duplicate ID is '...:\...\sandcastle\1f0bf757-679a-4962-893c-ff74d8838dd1.aml'

Thank you

No, the file IDs and thus the topic files themselves must be unique.  At build time, metadata for the topics is stored separately and is tied to the topic ID. As such, you can't have two topics tied to the same ID and get different topic titles, index keywords, etc. You need to clone the file and give it its own ID.
