No verbose output in Visual Studio 2010

I'm building my help file with Visual Studio using MSBuild target. However, I cannot get shfb build output to write to the Output window in VS. I have tried both verbosity and Verbose properties without success.

Example:

    <MSBuild Condition="'$(Configuration)'=='Release'"
             Projects="$(SolutionDir)Help\Core.User.Wpf.Grid.shfbproj"
             Properties="OutDir=$(OutDir);Verbose=True" />

This worked well with nDoc.

I don't think it outputs anything in the VS2010 output window until the build finishes regardless of the verbosity setting.  It doesn't when defined as a post-build step in the project properties anyway.  It does in VS2008 so something has changed in VS2010.  I haven't looked into why yet.
