Create a link to another project

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to add a link to a reference in another project ?

I saw that we can add the AdditionalReferencesLink plug-in and reference the other project.

But, after that, how can I link to an article from my current project to the external project ?

-> <link xlink:href="?????WhatToWriteHere?????">TheTitle</link>

Maybe must I use another type of link ?

It depends on what you are trying to link to. If it's API content, then the Additional Reference Links plug-in allows you to add <see> and <seealso> elements to your code's XML comments to link to those items. In a MAML topic, you can use a codeEntityReference to link to them. Bear in mind that the API links across help files will only work in Help 2 or MS Help Viewer output. There is no equivalent for MAML topics. The best you can do there is use an externalLink to create a link to the other topic's ID. However, that's probably format dependent too and I haven't tried it. Eric
